Carole holds the Advanced Diploma of the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy and is a Member of the National Register of Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists. She is registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy, and is one of only eight people in Spain to hold the European Certificate in Psychotherapy.

 She also has specialist qualifications in Couple Counselling, Life Coaching  and Rational Emotive therapy. She was until moving to Spain, a Counselling Supervisor with the Bristol based charity, Network Counselling and Training, as well as running a private practice, working with individuals, couples and groups.  She is an active Clinical Supervisor for the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy

She has studied, and indeed uses in her work, several different therapeutic approaches, including person-centred therapy, Gestalt, regression therapy, Jungian dynamic psychology, Ericksonian therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, autogenic training, personal construct theory, and neuro-linguistic programming.
